Community & town council clerks and their administrative assistants are welcome to apply for a bursary towards registering for the CiLCA Qualification. This scheme closes on the 28th Feb 2018.
The criteria to receive a CiLCA Wales Bursary is as follows:
Bursary is 50% of the cost of registration for CiLCA. The bursary payment is currently £125.
The bursary scheme is aimed at smaller councils and is open to any Clerk or administrative assistant who works for a council with a turnover (i.e. annual budgeted income) of under £40,000.
Your registration for CiLCA must be received together with your bursary application- it cannot be claimed retrospectively. Registrations must be received by 16th March 2018.
You must complete your portfolio within 12 months of registration and, depending on the date of registration, before 31st March 2018 at the latest. The bursary payment of £125 may be reclaimed if you do not complete your portfolio by this date.
