What will I learn in Level 5?

YEAR ONE

The Level Four qualification (or one of its predecessors) is an entry qualification for Level 5.  You claim Recognition of Prior Learning for your Level 4 credits worth 120 pts and study 120 pts at Level 5.  

2019 new students at Level 5 will study:

  • SLCC2002 Community Research (15 points)
  • SLCC2004 The Manager’s Role (30 points)
  • SLCC2007 Community Governance Book Review (15 points)

YEAR TWO

  • SLCC2001 Communities in the Political System (30 points)
  • SLCC2003 Sustainable Communities (15 points)
  • SLCC2005 Learning in a New Setting (SLCC2006 Learning from a Workplace Project is a last resort alternative) (15 points)
