Clerk & Responsible Finance Officer

Salary: Salary is paid at NALC and SLCC rate

Staverton Parish Council seeks an organised, independent and adaptable individual to work from home and attend monthly Wednesday evening meetings as Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to the Parish Council, serving this beautiful area of Devon. 

We are a pro-active and friendly Council covering Staverton and Landscove villages and the surrounding area. The role is busy, but varied and interesting. Good IT skills are important and minute taking is essential.

Other skills such as writing funding bids, knowledge of the planning system and experience in dealing with correspondence would be a great advantage, although training will be available if needed. The applicant should be prepared to study for the industry qualification, the CiLCA or already hold this qualification.

The post is for ten hours per week. Salary is paid at the NALC and SLCC rate and will depend on qualifications and experience, with an additional allowance for home working costs. IT equipment will be provided.
