Deputy Clerk

Salary: Scale point 21-23

Withernsea Town Council is seeking to appoint a forward thinking and proactive Deputy Clerk to assist the Town Clerk to carry out all the instructions of the Council in connection with its functions as a Local Authority and assist in the effective management of its resources.

We require a person who is experienced in Customer Service & Administration in a busy office, ideally with previous experience in Local Council administration, and who is prepared undertake the necessary training to fulfil the role and a view to toward gaining the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CILCA) in the future.

Applicants are required to submit, electronically, a comprehensive CV including a separate statement indicating why they are interested in the post and what relevant skills and experience they would bring to the town council. Applications should also include the names two references.
