Are you engaged in neighbourhood planning and reached at least pre-submission stage? Do you want to share your first hand-experiences of the process, learn from others and help to inform and enhance neighbourhood planning in the future?
If so, then you will be interested in attending the free Neighbourhood Planning HIVE event which is taking place at the University of Reading on Wednesday 6th June 2018.
The event will bring together groups from all over the country to share their first-hand experiences of the process. This will enable you to not only learn from others but also to help and enhance neighbourhood planning in the future.
The full-day event will be led by Professor Gavin Parker who will be writing in the next edition of The Clerk magazine on his research into participation in planning. The event will be designed specifically to address emerging issues from those engaged in the process with the agenda and format of the day to be shaped by those attending. This will ensure it provides the best learning value as it meets your needs and priorities.
A practically useful report will be produced quickly and shared shortly after the event - which will provide on the ground practical advice to help you progress your plan.
The event is free to attend and we do hope you can join us.
Places are limited and a pre-qualification questionnaire will be required. For more information and to register your interest, visit https://research.reading.ac.uk/neighbourhoodplanning/hive-2018/.
