Joining instructions will be sent to you 3 weeks before the event and your invoice will be sent 5 days after the event. We advise that, on receipt of the joining instructions, you are liable for any fees incurred in order to attend the event.

Vevox
During the conference we will be using the Vevox polling software to obtain audience responses. The system allows responses from a mobile device and will display results live as they happen. Prior to the conference please download the free app from Google Play or the App Store depending on whether you have an android or apple mobile device.

*The bursary will be awarded on a first come basis. The bursary is limited to one per council, the delegate must be new to clerking with their first clerking role within the last 6 months and a first time attendee to the Regional Training Seminar. This bursary is not to be used in conjunction with any other bursary. By qualifying and taking advantage of this bursary you agree to your information being shared with Came and Company Local Council Insurance who may contact you to discuss your insurance needs.

Other Officers - councillors and all other council officers are very welcome at the RTS, and if their clerk is a member of the SLCC they will also be entitled to the member's rate. We are also pleased to offer a £10 discount for each councillor and officer accompanying their clerk.
 
The Welsh Bursary Scheme -
SLCC is delighted to announce that the Minister for Public Services has agreed to continue the Wales training bursary until 29th February 2020. The Bursary limit is 50% of the cost of the training course, conference or CPD event up to a maximum bursary payment of £100. Click here to view the criteria and complete the application form.

Your registration will secure you a place on the Regional Training Seminar. Your booking will then be confirmed and invoices issues approximately 3 weeks before the event. At a similar time you will also be sent a delegate list and joining instructions detailing the venue, agenda and other details relevant to the event.

We advise that you do not purchase non-refundable travel tickets to the event until you have received confirmation from the SLCC, which will be finalised 2 weeks before the event.  Many travel companies do not offer refunds on advanced bookings and the SLCC will not be held liable in the unlikely event of cancellation.
