    Terms & Conditions

    Terms & Conditions for National events, CPD Courses and Regional Roadshows

    a) Attendance will be via advance bookings only.

    b) All course fees are subject to VAT.

    c) No provisional bookings will be accepted.

    d) Bookings will be acknowledged by e-mail on receipt of the booking form.

    e) Event details, directions to the venue and a VAT invoice will be sent to delegates 21 days before the event.

    f) Cancellations after the invoice has been produced will result in a forfeit of all fees. However, substitution of delegates will be allowed.

    g) The Member’s fee will be charged to Society members attending the event and any of their Councillors and/or Council staff who attend the event WITH the Society member.

    h) The Non-Member’s fee will be charged to Clerks who book and are not members of the Society and Councillors and Council staff who attend the event WITHOUT a Society member.

    i) The Came & Company Bursary (Regional Conferences only) applies to one place per Council only. Only 10 bursaries are provided per Regional Conference and are given on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

    j) Only one discount will be applied to any one delegate fee

    k) Conferences are only open to Clerks, Councillors and local council employees 

    l) Delegates may not undertake any sales, marketing or promotional activity for a commercial organisation as part of their delegate package

    m) Photography and video production may be taking place at SLCC events. These images may be used on future promotional materials. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any SLCC promotional material and publications.
