Attracting, Recruiting & Managing Volunteers

Course Search

This workshop has a dual purpose and is aimed at both clerks who are new to managing volunteers - and those that are already supervising a team of volunteers but need some guidance. We will cover the whole 'volunteer journey' including setting up effective recruitment & supervision procedures, motivating & developing volunteers, and dealing with problems relating to poor performance and team morale. This will be a very practical day where you will learn how to best encourage and develop volunteers' skills and enhance the work of your local town, parish or community council as a whole.
