About the trainer:
Lis manages the SLCC Advisory Service and provides specialist employment advice to members. She has been a clerk since 2003 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and the Institute of Local Council Managers. She is clerk to Rawdon Parish Council, a new urban parish in Leeds established in November 2012. Outside of work she is undertaking a part time PhD looking at localism and leadership in parish councils.
