Your new webinar is designed to take you through the process of local elections. It will cover everything you need to know to ensure your council is properly constituted.

Topics covered:
- Purdah - how pre-election period publicity rules impact upon local councils
- Councillors - what you need to ask them to do once elected
- New Councillors - what induction is necessary
- Meeting - when can you have your first meeting after an election and what it should include


Your trainer:
Like many Clerks, Yvonne Colverson fell into the profession after a varied career covering horticulture, customer service management, the care industry and time as a school bursar. Yvonne is currently Clerk to North Wingfield Parish
Council in Derbyshire and now has 10 years’ experience in the sector.She acts as an Advisor within SLCC’s Advisory Service and also runs webinars to support students in achieving their ILCA qualification.

Joining instructions will be sent to you 3 weeks before the event and your invoice will be sent 5 days after the event. We advise that, on receipt of the joining instructions, you are liable for any fees incurred in order to attend the event.
