Designed specifically for community and town councillors, the pre-recorded training can be viewed at your leisure with access to watch again until 1 April 2023.

What will I learn?
The course has been designed specifically for community and town councillors and includes two hours of introductory videos covering:
- Overview – how planning works and who’s who in planning in Wales
- Planning Policy – national policy, local development plans and place plans
- Planning Applications – how planning applications are processed, how decisions are made and how to respond to planning applications
- The role of community and town councils in all the above
How long will it take?
Once you have been registered on the system, you will have until 1 April 2023 to access the pre-recorded sessions.
Choose to view the sessions in any order or re-watch as many times as required.
Complete the course and record a CPD point!
How will I learn?
Undertake the training without the constraints of attending a ‘live’ e-course. Check the webinar page for details of virtual training sessions where you get to speak with the trainer/s.
