Do you operate markets or markets related events?
Are you considering joining the many local councils now operating or managing markets, or do you simply want to know more about markets and their offer to high streets and communities?

If the answer to any question is yes, then why not join us on Thursday 27 June to visit, and go behind the scenes of the award winning South Molton Pannier Market. Learn more about markets in general, their history and legal framework, and the prominent role they are playing in meeting ever increasing gaps in local service delivery across the UK.

As more and more local councils are becoming involved in the markets industry then this is an excellent event to learn and share knowledge. Members of the NABMA team will be available throughout the event to answer your questions.

The invitation to attend is also to representatives of principal councils interested in working with their local councils on transfer of assets, devolution of services etc.

With the government levelling up agenda and the offer from markets in terms of employment, tourism, start up business and supporting communities then we hope you will book to attend this free event.

The Victorian South Molton Pannier Market was awarded the accolade of NABMA Best Local Council Community Market 2024 for its role as a hub for local services, free community activities, and its support for charitable causes. It boasts over 70 stalls offering a wide variety to goods and services.
