An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Wells City Council’s team, in an interesting role with scope to build on this Council’s current provisions as it continues to grow and expand its responsibilities.

The Outside Spaces Development Officer will facilitate the provision of high quality, efficient and resident-focused park and open space development, including allotment provision within the City boundary in line with the Council’s Vision and Local Government Reorganisation.

The right candidate will need to be highly motivated, with excellent IT, communication and administration skills, and able to work independently as well as part of a team where we all work together to progress the Council’s services and facilities. Applicants should have experience and be able to have a flexible approach.

This is a full time position – 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Occasional evening work will be required to attend council meetings.
