Free Aerial Photos for Town, Parish and Community Councils

Published 21st November 2018

Under a new Government scheme called Aerial Photography for Great Britain (APGB), operated under contract by aerial mapping companies Bluesky and Getmapping, all public bodies including town, parish and community councils can freely access a wide variety of aerial imagery data. It is first necessary to register with APGB at www.apgb.co.uk. It is then possible to take full advantage of the range of datasets available under this agreement.

Full details and examples of the types of images which can be made available can be viewed here.
