NALC Star Council Awards - Clerk of the Year 2019

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) will again be holding its Star Councils Awards later this year which includes a category of “Clerk of the Year”. The current winner is Mark Williams, Town Clerk to Falmouth TC.
There is no set criteria beyond being clerk to a parish or town council in England, however judges will be looking for evidence that the clerk is managing the council effectively and is involved in projects which benefit the local community.
Entry is via a simple online form which can be found here, the deadline for entries is 28th June 2019. Anyone can nominate a clerk and clerks can also nominate themselves. After the closing date entries will go before our judging panel who will determine the shortlist and winners who will be announced at the NALC Annual Conference at Milton Keynes on 28th October.
