The IIMC Board of Directors would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we have worked through the recent review of the 2025 Board election process.
As part of our due diligence, the Board referred a matter to the Ad Hoc Ethical Standards Committee and Election Committee concerning a potential violation of IIMC’ s election rules. After careful review and discussion, both committees provided their findings and recommendations to the Board. We are grateful for the professionalism, time, and integrity these members demonstrated throughout their service.
Following those findings, the Board of Directors conducted its own thorough review. It was determined that the candidate in question did violate established election procedures.
The Candidate has requested to be removed from the 2025 election ballot.
The Board of Directors wants to emphasize that this decision was made in the interest of maintaining the integrity of the election process while also ensuring that any corrective action taken is fair, balanced, and aligned with our values as a member-driven Organization.
We recognize the weight of this decision and the importance of transparency.
The Boards of Directors’ goal remains to foster trust, uphold our bylaws and policies, and preserve the credibility of our elections.
The revised election will proceed with the voting period open from April 22 to May 2, 2025, 5:00 p.m. PDT. Members will receive an official ballot containing the names, bios, and photos of the remaining candidates.
