Lancing Parish Council is looking for an Operations Manager to maintain and develop its wide range of buildings, parks, open spaces, and seafront. Now is an exciting time to join us following a recent extensive review of all that we do. The council currently provides a wide range of community facilities including a Parish Hall, parks, recreation and sports facilities, open spaces, allotments, a nature reserve pocket parks, car parks, the seafront and beach huts. The council is looking for a suitability and experienced individual that has a facilities management background or similar transferable skills.
The successful applicant will be required to lead the operations team of staff, manage, and maintain facilities and projects to improve facilities and usage. Experience of budget management, supervising contractors, health and safety requirements and risk management are required.
