2 June 2025In the government’s recently issued ‘Planning Reform Working Paper: Speeding Up Build Out’, which forms part of a series of working papers on different aspects of planning reform, it was revealed that they ‘welcome views…ahead of further detail on the policy as part of the consultation on National Decision Making Policies and a revised National Planning Policy Framework later this year’.
The NPPF is the key planning document in England as it ‘sets out the government’s planning policies for England and how these should be applied’. The NPPF was last updated in December 2024.
