Linda Larter MBE FSLCC, SLCC Director and IIMC Director, and Gina Lopes PSLCC, SLCC President, recently represented SLCC and IIMC Region XI, at the 2025 IIMC Annual Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, held from 18–21 May. With the theme ‘The Gateway to Education’, the event brought together municipal clerks from across the United States and clerks from around the world — marking the largest in-person gathering since the pre-Covid era, including over 280 first-time attendees. The conference featured a comprehensive education programme covering wellbeing, resilience, leadership, and more. A key highlight was the Annual Business Meeting, which included the swearing-in of the new Board, Executive Committee, and incoming President, Dawn Abrahamson, MMC.
SLCC was proud to support the conference and to be part of such a vibrant and inspiring global clerking community.
