Responsible Finance Officer (Part-time)

We are seeking a diligent and dedicated individual to join our team as a Responsible Finance Officer (RFO). This position is pivotal in ensuring compliance, accountability, and effective management of our Council’s finances and financial records.
The successful candidate will have suitable experience in a financial capacity. Experience with Sage accounting software would be an advantage.
15 hours per week: minimum 2 days office based at Beacon Hall. Duties to include evening work reporting and minute taking at financial-related meetings in Beacon Hall.
Annual salary £31,067 (SCP19) to £34,314 (SCP24) pro-rata depending on experience (including pension and benefits associated with Local
Government Employment) and subject to a 6-month probation period. The successful applicant will have the Financial Introduction to Local
Council Administration (FILCA) qualification or be able to obtain it within 12 months.
