President Visits Local Council Clerk Expos
‘I spent an interesting couple of days visiting the recent SLCC Local Council Clerk Expos, both in Exeter and Derby. I did not manage the Welwyn date as well, but did enjoy my visits to the other two.
‘There were numerous sector related exhibitors who were very knowledgeable and keen to discuss their products, and I spent time chatting to as many as possible. In addition, there were several interesting sessions happening in the Demo Room at each event and I listened in to a few of these and gained some valuable information in a short space of time.
‘As these events were also free of charge I felt they were very worthwhile, a great chance to gather some expert knowledge, and touch base with all the SLCC team as well.’
