A new town council for High Wycombe?

21 November 2018

Associated with the proposed creation of a new Unitary Council for Buckinghamshire from May 2020, Wycombe Diastrict Council is considering a Community Governance Review which will include the possibility of creating a new Town Council for the ancient market town of High Wycombe, the only area of the county which is currently unparished.

With a population of over 125,000 this would, if agreed, be one of the very largest local councils in the country.
