The Government has announced that from 10 August 2020, groups based in deprived areas (where 30% or more of the neighbourhood area or population is in the 20% most deprived areas in accordance with the Index of Multiple Deprivation) will be eligible for a further £8,000 in the basic grant (from £10k to £18k), plus access to a range of technical support packages.
