The SLCC is committed to promoting the professional standing and knowledge of our members through training and qualifications.

Our comprehensive training and conference programme continues to offer clerks a range of training courses, conferences, workshops and qualifications designed to improve the abilities and skills of the clerk at all levels and from any size of council. The programme also provides clerks with an excellent opportunity to discuss and share common issues.

National Conference
2nd & 3rd October 2019, Jurys Inn, Hinckley Island Hotel

SLCC & OVW Joint Event

The 2019 conference held jointly by SLCC and One Voice Wales was a sell-out and hailed a great success by delegates, 100% of whom said the event was highly beneficial to their council. Attend this event to overcome the challenges facing community & town councils in 2020

Leadership in Action Conference
