19 June 2025The government is seeking views on the proposals submitted by councils for the reorganisation of local government in Surrey.
The Minister of State for Local Government and English Devolution has decided to consult the councils making the proposals; other councils affected or which may by affected by the proposals, public service providers, and certain other business, voluntary and community sector, and educational bodies.
Responses will inform the government’s decision on which proposal, if any, to implement.
