8 August 2023The Association of Local Council Clerks (ALCC), in accordance with legislation, have undertaken the process for election of General Secretary. They are required to do this as a minimum every 5 years.
The person elected was Linda Hedley, Clerk and RFO at Sellindge parish council, and Ringwould and Kingsdown Parish Council, in Kent. Linda is also an SLCC mentor and was the existing ALCC General Secretary before being re-elected for a further term.
SLCC look forward to the continued constructive working relationship with Linda and ALCC.
