By sharing experiences, creating a dialogue and demonstrating that clerks are not alone with various issues that have arisen throughout your career, it enables us to grow stronger in our profession. The aim of these sessions is to educate and raise awareness between clerks on a wide range of subjects; from daily skills, finance, communication & social media, communities, and emergency planning to name a few.

“Since updating our agendas following your training session our meetings have changed for the better. Bringing the clerks report to the start of the meeting and tidying up the rest of the order has made meetings flow better, speeded them up and made them more productive. Thank you for improving the life of this clerk. I am certainly encouraging colleagues to take up refresher training (as this was for me) because it is so easy to get into bad habits.”
Jason Mawer, Clerk to Warfield Parish Council
