This course is for those that registered for CiLCA in Wales prior to February 2022 and are interested in how the General Power of Competence (GPoC) will affect your council.

Date: Friday 30 September, 10:00am – 11:00am

Cost: Members £30 + VAT, Non-members £45 + VAT

Duration: 1 hour

Course Overview

This 60-minute webinar will cover the general powers available to your council available to your council (other than s137), the eligibility to use GPoC in Wales and provide guidance relating to learning outcome 7 of the CiLCA portfolio guide.

The webinar is led by an experienced and well-qualified CiLCA trainer who will be able answer all of your questions.

Candidates can also register separately for the standalone GPoC LO7 submission (costing £30) – Please note this is not mandatory

Requirements

You should:

  • hold CiLCA prior to May 2022 or registered for CiLCA in Wales prior to February 2022
  • You hold the tailored qualification from the University of Gloucestershire (but not /CiLCA)
  • You must have access to a computer/laptop in a location where you are not disturbed
  • If you do not hold any qualifications presently you are required to pass CiLCA in its entirety

CPD Points: You can claim 1 CPD point
