Overview

This 1-hour session provides a non-judgmental space to increase confidence and familiarity around LGBTQ+ identities and rights, and to learn how to create a positive experience for LGBTQ+ people in the workplace.

We’ll cover the basics of LGBTQ+ identities and related terminology alongside practical aspects of LGBTQ+ inclusivity, including referring to people respectfully, managing LGBTQ+ staff, unpicking heteronormative assumptions, and being an LGBTQ+ ally.

You will have the chance to ask questions and discuss problems specific to your area of work, and there will also be an opportunity to ask anonymous questions.
