Came & Company provide specialist council insurance with expertise and knowledge of this unique sector enabling us to create bespoke insurance solutions designed to meet the specific needs of each local council.
Some of you will already be aware of Came & Company Local Council Insurance and many of you will have been existing clients of ours for many years now. We were established in 2008, founded on the belief that whether acting as a local councillor, trustee, employee or volunteer, good people giving of themselves for the benefit of their community, should be appropriately protected.
We continue to help protect good people doing the right thing for their communities, specifically where councils and volunteers remain unknowingly exposed. Our proposition has remained a constant for over ten years, providing advice and specialist insurance to the local councils of England and Wales. Through our strong relationships with the SLCC, NALC and One Voice Wales, we continue to develop our understanding of this ever-changing sector, in order that our proposition remains relevant. As a result, we now provide insurance solutions to in excess of 4,000 local councils and community groups.
Cost remains increasingly important (albeit ‘cheaper’ premiums are often achieved at the expense of cover and usually represent a false economy), along with policy cover. We believe it is the service proposition which sits alongside a policy that is increasingly important. Please contact Came & Company to discuss risk and your responsibilities.
The SLCC would like to thank Came & Company for their ongoing support of the local council sector.
