About the Trainers
Emily is a Senior Auditor at SWAP Internal Audit Services and is an active member of the Welsh Institute of Internal Auditors Committee. Having joined SWAP in January 2018, she has gained experience across a range of public and third sector authorities including councils, police and fire services, and charities. Emily’s previous experience includes compliance auditing in the retail sector, and ISO9001 quality auditing in the private security industry.
Angie Hooper CIA
Angie is a SWAP Principal Auditor having joined the company in 2015. Angie obtained Certified Internal Auditor status in January 2018 and is currently working towards the Chartered qualification. She is currently a member of the SWAP Dorset Council team but has worked across a number of different local authorities and external clients over her time as an auditor. Angie’s previous experience includes working in a finance role for a Town Council and in a management role for a building society.
