A bite sized introduction to the planning system.
This provides an introductory, or refresher training session, for clerks who wish to know more about the planning system.
The aim is to give clerks greater knowledge and understanding in how to respond to planning applications and decisions, ensuring comments are lawful, effective and appropriate for their area.
The session is being led by Andrew Towlerton National Planning Advisor to the Society of Local Council Clerks. A qualified planner, Andrew has worked in various senior planning roles in the public and private sectors. He is also a parish clerk so is familiar with local councils.
Wrong time? Wrong subject?
The SLCC is always keen to respond to members’ needs for training. If you would like to register an interest in having a particular course delivered via webinar or in your region, please let us know.
