Webinar outline:

Engaging volunteers, when done well, can bring immeasurable benefit to your organisation.

My name is Lisa Clemons and I am the volunteer supervisor for Weston-super-Mare Town Council. Volunteering years ago changed my life and I have been a passionate advocate of it ever since.

I have been extremely fortunate over the past five years to be able to (with the help and support of an amazing team) develop a volunteer program that works. A program based on an inclusive culture and good practices.

In this webinar I would like to share with you what I have learned about ‘Volunteers – How to Recruit & Keep Them!’

Webinar contents:

Involving volunteers, creating a culture, before you start, volunteer policy, role descriptions, information pack, volunteer handbook, volunteer agreement, a word on language, targeted recruitment, application process, induction, recruiting problems, volunteer retention, case study – Weston Museum, Q&A session.
