5 May 2022

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is producing a promotional video as part of the Civility & Respect project which is a collaborative project between SLCC, NALC, One Voice Wales (OVW), and the County Associations.

The video will showcase what civility and respect mean in the local (parish and town) council sector and we are asking members to please submit a video to tell us what civility and respect means to you.

Please follow the instructions below when creating and submitting your videos:

• The video should be no more than 10 seconds long
• Your email should include your name, position, and organisation (e.g. Cllr Joe Public, chair of example Parish Council or Joe Public, Clerk of Example Parish Council, or Joe Public, volunteer of example parish council)
• Your video should include one sentence on what civility and respect mean to you
• The video should be filmed in landscape (holding your phone sideways). No need to worry about the beginning and end of the video as this will be edited out

Please send your videos to: [email protected] by 31 May 2022.
