Under a new Government scheme called Aerial Photography for Great Britain (APGB), operated under contract by aerial mapping companies Bluesky and Getmapping, all public bodies including town, parish and community councils can freely access a wide variety of aerial imagery data. It is first necessary to register with APGB at www.apgb.co.uk. It is then possible to take full advantage of the range of datasets available under this agreement.
