Hughenden Parish Council is seeking a highly organised and committed individual to undertake this key role which is responsible for the administration, organisation and management of the Council’s services, facilities and finances.

This is an exciting time to be joining our small but dedicated team. You will therefore need to be enthusiastic, flexible and community-focused with a hands-on style and sound administrative, inter-personal, finance and IT skills in order to work successfully with councillors, external organisations, stakeholders and community groups.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in the Public Sector, perhaps as a Parish Clerk or, Deputy Clerk looking to further your career, or similar environment, such as a principal authority, and possess or be willing to obtain the Certificate in Local Council Administration qualification. Evening meeting attendance is required.

Hughenden Parish is set in the heart of the Chilterns, with over 9000 residents across 8 villages. The Council was an early adopter of devolved services and has direct responsibility for two playgrounds, open spaces, woodland, eight allotment sites and a garden of rest.
