Eversley Parish Council are seeking a Clerk/RFO (Responsible Finance Officer).

Eversley is a semi-rural village in the Hart district of Hampshire and the Council consists of 8 councillors. We hold monthly council meetings and committee meetings approximately every 6 weeks. The Council manages 4 playgrounds, a burial ground and a garden plots site.

The ideal candidate will be CiLCA qualified, or willing to obtain the qualification. Experience and qualifications in local government are preferred but not essential as training will be given. We would also welcome applications from candidates with strong administration skills and a willingness to learn. The role is varied and interesting and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated and organised with a flexible approach to their work. A good knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel is essential.

The role will be for 90 hours per month, working from home, with attendance at 1-2 evening meetings per month.

Salary: SCP  27-29(currently £16.58-£17.40 per hour) depending on qualifications/experience, plus working from home allowance of £26 per month. All necessary equipment will be provided.

Other benefits: Annual Leave of 23 days (pro-rata) plus bank holidays, mileage allowance and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
