An opportunity to join Ilkley Town Council as its Clerk, to work as part of a dynamic team of councillors and existing staff, in administrating the Council’s affairs, within a prosperous, vibrant and very pleasant town.

The successful candidate will manage a small office based team and must have good organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, councillors and local government officers. You must be proficient in Word, Excel and other recognised computer packages, and must also be familiar with internet banking and social media. The ability to work unsupervised and an availability to attend evening meetings is essential. You should also be prepared to attend training as required. Ideally you will have completed ILCA and be CILCA qualified.
