Hours: 16 Hours per week

Salary: (SCP Range 16 – 18) £11,398 to £11,823 per annum

Polegate Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Democratic Services Officer to provide efficient and effective support to the corporate services functions of the Council and the Town Clerk, as well as providing a high quality, administrative and clerical service.

Areas of day-to-day responsibility include, Council and Committee Meeting Paperwork and associated administration, Human Resources (including training) and Corporate Governance (Council Policies & Accreditation).

You will be required to prove you have the right to work in the UK.

Hours of Work – As required Monday to Friday during office hours but must be prepared to work out of office hours in order to attend Council meetings, business & events when required.
