As the Deputy Parish Clerk, you will work closely with the Parish Clerk, providing support and deputising in their absence. The role is varied, and no two days are the same.

As the council embarks on its ambitious project to deliver a new community hub in Warfield, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing our services to our residents and customers.

Additionally, you will possess the ability to effectively present information to councillors and have the requisite skills and knowledge to clerk committee meetings under your purview and council meetings in the Clerk’s absence.

A solid understanding of local government legislation, finance, and procedures is essential.

No specific qualifications necessary. The council will support your development through professional qualifications.
