Carterton Town Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Deputy Town Clerk / Responsible Finance Officer (RFO).
As Deputy Town Clerk / RFO, you will be responsible for managing the council’s finances, overseeing office resources and staff, and deputising for the Town Clerk. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the council’s financial processes, attending meetings, and leading on specific projects.
Full time position – 37 hours per week, 5 days per week. A flexible approach is needed, as some evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
