An interesting and rewarding new position has become available with Corsham Town Council. The overall job purpose is to influence, facilitate, communicate, and carry out projects that will result in a lower carbon footprint for Corsham parish area. This work will include working on biodiversity and projects to enhance the natural environment.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the community in areas such as waste minimisation, energy efficiency, reducing private car journeys and renewable energy generation.
The post holder will progress the town council’s Carbon Reduction Plan and provide support for the Environment Task Group.
An element of working from home, and occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
Closing date for applications is 9am on 17 May 2021.
Interviews will be held during week commencing 31 May 2021.
