Finance & Grants Officer

The Finance & Grants Officer to Meopham Parish Council will assist and support the Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer in managing the Council’s day-to-day financial administration. This will include optimising the Council’s financial systems and processes.

The Finance & Grants Officer will take responsibility for the council’s fundraising strategy and identifying and securing alternative funding streams to support the delivery of council services, projects, and events.

The role is for 10 hours per week. Ideally candidates will hold or be willing to work towards a minimum of the Financial Introduction to Local Council Administration (FILCA) qualification.

The salary, for this office-based role, is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience, ranging from £7264-£7774 (SCP 13-17) per annum.
