Wymondley Parish Council requires a Clerk to manage the Council’s business. This busy parish consists of Great Wymondley, Little Wymondley, Todds Green and the nearby hamlets.

Duties include

  • Administration of council meetings
  • Preparation of agendas
  • Writing minutes and reports
  • Administration of the Council’s website and social media
  • Legal & statutory compliance

Working mainly from home, using a laptop provided by the Council, your hours are fully flexible. Council meetings occur 10 times per year in the evenings. Other meetings are required from time to time. Training for the Certificate in Local Council Administration will be provided. Applicants should have the requisite experience in administration. Previous experience as a Clerk is desirable, but not essential. Contact the retiring Clerk for an application form and Recruitment Information Pack.
