Chesterton Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Parish Clerk. This is an administrative role for 12 hours a week working from the parish office, but including some evening meetings.

We are looking for someone who is competent in computer literacy & website maintenance and applicants must have excellent communication & good presentation skills. The postholder will be based in the well equipped parish office within Chesterton Community Centre.

Experience of local government or parish council work will be an advantage (but not essential) and a parish council laptop, printer and mobile phone is provided, with any necessary training as well.

Salary with be on the NALC Clerks scale based on skills, experience and qualifications.
