Are you organised? Want to work from Home? We’re looking for a Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to support the Council’s work and keep things running smoothly in our vibrant parish.

This is a rewarding and varied role at the heart of local government. As Clerk and RFO, you’ll provide administrative and financial support to the Council, help deliver key services, and ensure legal and procedural duties are met.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes for Council meetings
  • Managing council finances
  • Communicating with councillors, residents, and local authorities
  • Keeping the website up to date
  • Helping us stay efficient and responsive

We’re looking for:

  • An Experienced and Enthusiastic individual
  • Excellent organisational and financial skills
  • A confident communicator with a proactive approach
  • Ideally, you’ll hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA),
    or be part-qualified with CIPFA/ACCA or equivalent

The role would suit an experienced Clerk looking for a new challenge or someone looking to expand their portfolio with a new council. You’ll need to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in supporting our parish and residents.
