Bray Parish Council is recruiting a Parish Clerk to replace their current Clerk who is retiring. This is a senior executive role and candidates are expected to show Leadership and Management skills along with an understanding of local government legislation and finance.

Along with the 15 Parish Councillors and Assistant Clerk, the Clerk is responsible for managing the work of the Parish and the precept of £188,000. The role is 37 hours per week, with some evening meetings and is based at the Parish Office in Fifield.

Candidates should hold or be willing to work towards gaining CiLCA within 6 months of commencing employment.

Salary will be on the National Scale LC2 (29-32) (£32,029.00 to £34,788.00) and an appropriate pension scheme will be offered.
