Newark Town Council is one of the largest town councils in the Midlands serving a population of around 32,000. The activities and services delivered by the Council have increased significantly in recent years and the Council has ambitious plans for further expansion.
We are seeking a Town Clerk to succeed Alan Mellor who retires next year. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to help shape the style and future direction of the Council which will require outstanding leadership and communication skills.
If you have demonstrable expertise in managing a large Town Council or similar public sector body and feel you would be successful in this exacting position we would like to hear from you.
