We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced public sector senior leader to join our forward thinking Town Council in Biggleswade.
Biggleswade is a thriving market town within the Central Bedfordshire Council area and is administered by a pro-active town council. The council serves a population of 20200 and has a budget of £1.2m.
The council operates a wide range of facilities including the Orchard Community Centre, allotments, markets, cemeteries, many of the town’s parks and recreation grounds. The council is currently facilitating the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan and will work to bring the necessary infrastructure to an expanding town. The council will also continue to work with its partners to create a new programme of events and services to benefit the community.
