An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team dedicated to providing excellent services to our community. Raunds is a rapidly expanding market town in East Northamptonshire with a population of 10,000.

The Town Council currently provides a wide range of services to the community including: parks, markets, opens spaces, a cemetery, community buildings as well as delivering a wide range of community events.

Northamptonshire is going through a period of local government reorganisation with a move to two new unitary authorities in the county. The Town Council is ideally placed to take on further services from the new North Northamptonshire authority.

Raunds Town Council is the only local council in Northamptonshire to hold the gold standard within the local council award scheme and the new Town Clerk will be expected to uphold this standard and to continue to demonstrate sound governance and an innovative approach to managing council services.
